Rachel Chu

She has particular experience in sector-specific trend mapping, survey building and benchmarking of intellectual property environments.

Rachel’s work focuses on Latin America, Europe and CIS, with special emphasis on the Russia, Spain and the UK, and she speaks fluent Spanish. She has authored several articles published in academic and trade journals.

Prior to her work with Pugatch Consilium, Rachel was a researcher with the Stockholm Network, where she focused on health and innovation policy.
Rachel holds an MSc in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics and is currently a PhD student at the University of Maastricht’s Law faculty. Her thesis examines intellectual property rights and R&D into neglected diseases.
